Aside from individual and company training services, Ron Alexander (President of R. Alexander Associates, Inc.) provides group training and specialized workshops. He is an accomplished international speaker and trainer, providing unique insights and practical solutions, as well as technical, sales and marketing experience.

Compost Sales and Marketing Training Workshop: For several years, R. Alexander Associates, Inc. (RAA) has provided specialized organic recycled product sales and marketing training for its clients. RAA is now offering a complete 1-day Compost Sales and Marketing Training Workshop. The workshop was developed for training compost marketers and sales staff. The workshop will provide marketing insight and sales techniques for new, as well as experienced, sales staff. The instructor for the workshop is Ron Alexander, a veteran compost salesman and sales/marketing manager with over 40 years of experience in compost use and marketing. The workshop is perfect for state, regional or national composting organizations to sponsor their members, or to use as an optional 'add on' workshop to their conferences or technical workshops. However, private companies and government entities may also use the course for specialized in-house staff training.

Green Industry Basics: Understanding specific technical aspects of the ‘green industry’ is essential to the successful marketing of compost. This workshop was developed to provide composters and compost marketers with a basic technical understanding of soil and plant functions and explain how compost assists these functions - ‘WHY COMPOST IS SO GOOD FOR THE SOIL AND WHY IT HELPS PLANTS GROW’. The course also describes products that compete with compost, as well as the pros and cons of their usage, compared to compost. Without understanding the basics of the industries in which we sell, it is impossible to be productive in the sale of compost.
